As a sex worker, my clients often seek diverse and unique experiences during our time together. Lately, I've noticed an increasing interest in having me provide guidance and companionship during psychedelic trips, specifically during a mushroom journey- and I love it!

Before embarking on a psychedelic journey with my client, I make it a priority to establish open and honest communication. Creating a safe space where they can share their intentions, fears, and expectations for the trip is crucial. Understanding their motivations and concerns allows me to tailor the experience to meet their specific needs. This conversation usually happens over a meal, so we can be on the same page, while enjoying something super delicious.
As a sex worker providing guidance during a mushroom trip, I ensure that I have a comprehensive understanding of psychedelic substances. I take the time to educate my client about the effects, potential risks, and dosage recommendations of mushrooms. Encouraging them to research and gain a thorough understanding of what to expect during the journey is essential.
Setting and Respecting Boundaries
Both my client's boundaries and my own must be clearly defined and respected during the trip. I establish guidelines for physical touch and intimacy, making it clear that my role is to provide emotional support and companionship rather than intimate activities during the trip. Lots of intimacy during a shroom trip might make you super nauseous too, so if it’s been agreed upon, maybe we’ll do that before 😉
Creating a Safe and Comfortable Environment
To prepare a safe and comfortable environment for the trip, I select a tranquil and familiar setting where my client feels at ease. I consider factors such as lighting, music, and personal items that can contribute to a calming atmosphere.
Throughout the trip, it is crucial for me to remain calm and grounded, serving as a reassuring presence for my client. I understand that psychedelic experiences can be intense and emotionally charged, and my presence can help guide them through any challenging moments they may encounter.
Mindfulness, Activities and Reflection
As the journey unfolds, I encourage my client to practice mindfulness and self-reflection. Gentle reminders to focus on their breath or explore their thoughts and emotions can deepen their understanding and connection to the experience. I also plan activities that are fun, and personalized to the client.
Being Prepared for Unexpected Outcomes & Post-Trip Support
Despite the best preparation, every psychedelic trip is unique and may result in unexpected outcomes. I am always prepared to adapt to different scenarios and support my client with compassion and understanding. After the trip is over, I provide post-trip support for my client. I allow them the space to process their experience and feelings, offering a listening ear and emotional support if they wish to discuss the insights gained during the journey.
